Our Host Organization
Sport
North is the Host Organization for Volunteer NWT. That means it provides financial
administration and coordination supports to Volunteer NWT. Sport North was
incorporated in October 1976 to assist in the promotion and development of
amateur sport in the NWT. Sport North sees Volunteer NWT as a way it can work
closer with other kinds of volunteer groups, such as social service and environmental
agencies.
