GNWT Volunteer Support Initiative
NWT Premier Joe Handley signs Declaration on Volunteering. The declaration formally acknowledges the contributions of volunteers and voluntary groups. It commits the territorial government to implement its Volunteer Support Initiative.
The initiative has four goals: supporting volunteerism; building capacity; strengthening relationships; and, connecting NWT and federal initiatives that support the voluntary sector. Take a look at the GNWT Volunteer Support Initiative 2005-2008 Action Plan. (PDF-99 KB - 19 pages)
